摘要
An experimental method was developed to measure the local pulling force in several conventional pultrusion and resin injection pultrusion dies. It was found that the early part of the die contributes most to the pulling force, while the pulling resistance becomes very small after the resin has solidified. The pulling force distribution in the injection die can be modeled mathematically and the effective friction coefficient between the die surface and the moving composite can be measured by two simple devices. The influence of die design and pulling force on the quality of the pultruded composite will be discussed.
