摘要
Photoacoustic trace gas detection was demonstrated using pulsed grazing-incidence periodically poled lithium niobate optical parametric oscillator (OPO) used in photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS). Methane was used as the sample gas and its detection was performed in nitrogen and ambient air. The concentration of methane in air was found to be 1.84 ppmV after comparing the photoacoustic spectrum obtained for nitrogen and ambient air. The results agreed well with the geological research measurements of background methane in ambient air.
