title = "Photo-degradation of acetone vapor with CNT/TiO 2 nanocomposites fabricated by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition",
abstract = " The composite carbon nanotube (CNT)/TiO 2 was produced by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) methods to study the conditions for preparation of CNT/TiO 2 nanocomposites, and also to compare with other nanocomposite preparation methods. A 10 wt % CNT/TiO 2 nanocomposite showed the greatest acetone conversion and the highest rate constant. These results indicated that the presence of CNT in the photo-catalyst nanocomposites offered a good framework and support for TiO 2 particles, and also enhanced the photocatalytic activity of TiO 2 . The PECVD method provided a higher rate constant than using either sol-gel, or P25 approaches. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 103rd AWMA Annual Conference and Exhibition (Calgary, Alberta, Canada 6/22-25/2010). ",
