摘要
Wavelength selectivity and temperature insensitivity of fiber bragg gratings (FBG) was achieved using a bending bimetal structure with a spring. The FBG was fabricated in SMF-28 fiber by using a phase mask and an excimer laser. The measured wavelength shift was shown as a function of temperature for three different positions of the tunning block. The Bragg wavelength shift was less than 0.1 nm from -20°C to 80°C and the switching wavelength range was 0.8 nm with the switching time less than 8 ms.
