摘要
In this paper, the numerical performances of the Mur’s first order and perfectly matched layer (PML) absorbing boundary conditions (ABCs) for the alternating direction implicit finite-difference time-domain (ADI-FDTD) method are presented. By taking the dispersion error of the ADI-FDTD method into account, it is shown that the two ABCs have almost the same level of accuracy with large time step. A microstrip lowpass filter is studied to compare the calculation accuracy and efficiency of these two ABCs. Our study shows that the Mur’s ABC for ADI-FDTD method with large time step is more practicable due to its simplicity and efficiency.
