摘要

A simple system of coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS) consisting of a giant pulse ruby laser and a Stokes-Raman cell has been used to measure the effects of temperature and pressure of the hydrogen molecule (v equals 0, J equals 1) on the intensity of the converted CARS signal. The measurements were performed behind reflected shock waves of H//2-Ar mixtures in a shock tube as well as in a static cell at T equals 77 to 2,000 K, at a total pressure, p equals 10**3 to 5 multiplied by 10**5 Pa. A semiclassical theory has been developed to explain the experimental observations. The agreement of theory and experiment is fairly good, although the latter has some scatter.
