摘要
The matrix-isolation and laser-induced fluorescence techniques have been employed to study the production of transient species from the oxidation of H2 on Pt. The excitation of oxidation products trapped in Ar matrices at 10 K with a frequency-doubled dye laser operating at 319 nm resulted in a strong fluorescence at 340 nm. indicating the presence of the OH radical. The variation of the Pt catalyst temperature from 675 to 860°C gave rise to an activation energy of 41 ± 4 kcal/mole for the production of OH from the P± surface.
