摘要

A novel design of electrodes that improves coupling in 7 times 7 compact VCSEL array when compared to traditional electrode has been demonstrated. It exhibits dampened and wider 3-dB E-O bandwidth (11 vs. 9 GHz), better eye-pattern quality and narrow divergence angle (FWHM: 9°@220mA).
