Hysteresis-free photopatternable dielectrics for flexible organic thin-film transistors

摘要

In this study, with the use of poly(vinyl cinnamate) (PVCN) as the insulator, we are able to demonstrated hysteresis-free organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) made on either rigid glass or flexible stainless substrates. More importantly, PVCN is also photopatternable. Therefore, we could use conventional photolithographic process to fabricate the devices. Further, the compression bending measurements indicated no significant decay of the field effect for the flexible OTFTs.
