Highly efficient visible-blind organic ultraviolet photodetectors

摘要

UV-responsive organic materials were investigated for demonstration of highly efficient visible-blind organic UV photodetectors. Trialyamines and oxadiazole-containing oligoaryls were used as D-A couples in UV photodetectors. Thin films of these compounds and mixtures were prepared by vacuum deposition, and they exhibited a homogeneous appearance. The results show that the organic UV detectors have good efficiencies and visible blindness and yet cover the whole of UV-A range, making them attractive for high-efficiency yet low-cost UV-A detection.
