摘要
The geotechnical engineering properties including index properties, shear strength parameters and consolidation characteristics of the marine clays offshore Lamma Island in Hong Kong are presented. As it is well known that the source of material has little influence on the behavior of the marine clays in this region, these properties can be used as first approximations for the geotechnical engineering properties of marine clays in Hong Kong for feasibility study and/or preliminary design.
