摘要

Single perylene and tetracene microcrystals were analyzed by fluorescence imaging using near-field scanning optical microscopy (NSOM). The crystals were embedded in a spin-coated polyvinyl alcohol films or dispersed glass plates. Fluorescence spectra exhibited a slight difference between individual crystals and for some crystals the spectra changed from spot to spot. Fluorescence spectra from tetracene were similar to the bulk tetracene crystal and peak intensity ratios at 540 and 570 nm were different between microcrystals. The relation of the spectroscopic properties of the microcrystals and near field images is also discussed.
