摘要
The application of the soft-lithographic processes for the fabrication of four types of microstructures for advanced particulate drug-delivery microdevices with engineered functions was analyzed. Strategies were developed to fabricate platelike microstructures of several polymers including poly(propylmethacrylate), chitosan, and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) based on polymers. A particle replication in nonwetting templates (PRINT) approached to fabricate polymer nanoparticles was also developed. An aqueous solution of acetic acid was used to prepare a chitosan of sucrose was brushed across the surface of the stamp with a cotton swab. The cotton was then placed in a desciccator under vacuum conditions to dry the sucrose solution. The depth were used to calculate the average thicknesses of the chitosan and poly(PEGMA-co-PEGDMA) layers.
