Examining the function of cytoskeleton-associated proteins in yeast: A combination of yeast genetics, molecular biology, and real-time imaging

摘要

The budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae has always been an excellent model organism for studying conserved biological processes. This book presents several modern techniques in genetics, molecular biology, and real-time imaging to examine microtubule-related processes in yeast. Microtubule is a highly conserved protein assembly, and the results shown in this book have significant implications in neurobiology and cancer cell biology.
