摘要

In common, the significant time for children development is between the age of 0 and 6, so receiving early intervention is especially important for the children with developmental delay[1][2]. However, current early intervention usually has limited efficiency and its contents need more stimulation [3]. And it is necessary to have a system to assess the training effectiveness of intervention[4]. Therefore, we design a system with Sport VR Technologies for developmental delay children to train them and evaluate their progress in motor skills. In our system, there are several Sport VR games for early intervention based on the sports we know, including volleyball, skiing and finger pinch. In these games, children with developmental delay can get the stimulation from the sports without the limit of space. Moreover, we can record the performance of the children and analyze the results deeply after the game. Compared to the traditional methods, the system with Sport VR Technologies can stimulate children to have more imagination space, and motivate them to play the games. Additionally, we can know children's progress efficiently and feedback immediately to improve the early intervention via data collection.
