Design and Implementation of Inverted Voltage Balancing Control for Bidirectional Flying-Capacitor DC/DC Converter

摘要

This paper proposes an inverted decoupling control for the four-level bidirectional flying-capacitor converters (4L-BFCC). At first, the average behaviors of the 4L-BFCCs are analytically modeled by the averaged state-space equations and presented by the transfer functions. According to the developed transfer functions, the power flow control loop and flying-capacitor voltage control loop s in parallel are designed. The former loop is the multiloop control with inner inductor current control and outer voltage control, and the latter one is the inverted decoupling control developed to decouple two flying capacitor voltages. Some simulation and experimental results are provided to demonstrate the proposed control.
