The authors regret that the printed version of the above article contained a number of errors. The correct and final version follows. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. 1. Result section: 3.4. “associations between anemia and sarcopenia were stronger in men (OR: 2.7, 95% CI: 1.2–5.8) and nonsmokers (OR: 2.5, 95% CI: 1.1–5.6)” should be replaced with “associations between anemia and sarcopenia were stronger in men (OR: 2.6, 95% CI:1.2–5.6) and nonsmokers (OR: 3.8, 95% CI: 1.6–9.3)”2. Statistics from subgroups analysis of sex, smokes and alcohol consumptions have been corrected in the Fig. 2.
