title = "Consolidation of flexible pavement based on a viscoelastic-elastic-poroelastic (VE-E-PE) model",
abstract = "A viscoelastic-elastic-poroelastic (VE-E-PE) model is established to account for flexible pavement consolidation. This VE-E-PE model is studied as the addition of porous fluid in the subgrade to a VE-E model. Such a treatment has the advantage of directly making use of the leading-edge VE-E model. General characteristics of the pavement response (stresses, strains, displacements) and consolidation in the poroelasticity are examined. Details are also presented on treating the possible disturbance of the continuity condition incurred by this treatment.",
