摘要
By reshaping the poles of the stator using different shaping schemes the value of the back-emf constant of the motor can be greatly increased. To improve the performance of the motor, asymmetric stator shapes are suggested to eliminate the starting dead point as well as to increase the back emf. In the design phase, the characteristics of a motor, including the current and the angular speed, can be predicted by solving the dynamic equations in conjunction with the constructed database, thus facilitating the design process. Results were confirmed from the numerical simulation of the magnetic field distribution for a two-pole single-phase synchronous motors.
