摘要

A linear polarized superfluorescent fiber source (SFS) in double-pass backward (DPB) configuration was developed by inserting a polarizer between the rear wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) and the fiber mirror. The polarized DPB SFS showed less sensitivity to the insertion loss and conserved the mean wavelength stability over a large pump power region as the conventional DPB SFS. It was shown that both the polarized and unpolarized configurations had a zero slope over a large pump-power region.
