title = "An adaptive bi-directional micro-pump by using light-induced electroosmosis",
abstract = "In this article, we utilize the feature of photoconductive material, TiOPc, to generate a series of asymmetrically virtual electrode on the organic substrate. These virtual electrode sequence generate the AC electroosmotic flow (ACEOF) phenomenon. The liquid pumping is controlled by the light pattern. Moreover, based on the flexibility of virtual electrode, the light pattern shift is able to change the virtual electrode sequence immediately. In conclusion, the most significant promotion of liquid pumping is that the liquid flow direction is reversed only by the light pattern shift without tuning any operation conditions, such as frequency and electric potential.",
