運用EXCEL VBA建立新建工程專案管理系統之研究

Whether or not new construction projects can be completed on schedule and to the required specifications depends on the effectiveness of construction project control. During the project management process, in addition to the need for first-line engineers (from the viewpoint of project owner) to constantly have an in-depth understanding of the project progress, the supervisor of the project owner must also control the progress of several projects at the same time and thus must use the progress reports of each project contractor, conduct project meetings, or engage in necessary consultations. Thus, a common practical dilemma in construction project management is how to effectively integrate project reports and progress information that are in various types of formats. This study analyzes the scheduling data and information required to be collected from numerous project report formats and proposes a single format report. Additionally, this investigation employs Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), built-in functions, hyperlinks and macros to develop a project management system. After applying the proposed system to real projects, the performance evaluation of operating the system functions receives an average score of 6.16 points (out of 7 points). Moreover, this study provides further refined approaches to respond to the system users' suggestions.
