工程全生命週期成本估算與管理之發展趨勢

Enhancing the estimation accuracy and efficient control of budgets and costs for construction projects is the keystone of all project management goals. Recently, many construction projects are executed ineffectively because 2 of the problems of extremely low budgets, errors in quantity takeoffs, poor cost control, etc. To improve the perception of the problems, the study investigates the current practice and research trend on the cost estimation and management in each life-cycle phase of construction projects. The main focused aspects here include cost uncertainties, methods dealing with low-budget practice, unit pricing, quantity takeoffs, consultant fees, and future improvement of public construction information database. Finally, this study suggests forming a cost engineer association to promote the establishment of a certificated system of cost engineers, standard measurement of quantities and an engineering manpower salary database for improving the profession of cost estimation and management.
