abstract = "This paper proposes a wideband microstrip reflectarray antenna based on the multiple-frequency phase synthesis method. To enhance gain bandwidth, the required phase distributions over reflectarray elements were properly synthesized at multiple frequencies within the operating band. The fabricated prototype shows that the measured 1.5-dB gain bandwidth ranges from about 12.1 GHz to greater than 18 GHz or greater than 39.2\%. The measured bandwidth for greater than 30\% aperture efficiency is about 45.8\%.",
