Abstract

We successfully demonstrated the visible vortex mode generation from a diode-pumped Pr3+:YLF laser by employing an off-axis pumping technique. A maximum output of ∼100 mW was obtained at a pump power of 1.2 W. Such visible structured light beams will be potentially applied to super-resolution fluorescent microscope and micro-fabrications.
