Abstract

Based on a Volterra-type channel model, we suggest a coded solution for compensating the nonlinear distortion of TDMA satellite waveforms. The resulting receiver for the coded system uses the iterated detection principle that iteratively equalizes the nonlinear channel and then decodes the equalized symbols. Computer simulation results show that significant improvement over conventional approach can be achieved.
