Abstract

In this study, we used a holographic optical element (HOE) to design a head-mounted display (HMD) system. A simple imaging system was employed to produce a virtual image. An HOE as a combiner was employed to guide the image into human eye. The distortion caused by HOE was analyzed and compensated.
