The establishment of project management model for defense industry

This study constructs a project management model, using a case drawn from military projects, to capture the behaviors of project team in order to describe and predict the process of project implementation. Different from classical approach used in project management, this study combines Habitual Domains and System Dynamics to better explain the project implementation process and to explore the reasons that cause the delay of the project. The model constructed can be applied not only to discover the potential problems at project planning stage but also to assist project managers to make effective decisions to ensure the smoothness of project implementation.
