Abstract

The synchronization of feedback-induced chaos was studied for semiconductor lasers using the optical injection scheme. The system consists of a transmitter and receiver lasers, where the transmitter laser was given external optical feedback and the receiver laser with optical injection from tramsmitter laser. Numerical simulations were used to investigate effects of frequency for transmitter and reciever lasers and synchronization conditions. Different effects for positive and negative frequency detuning on synchronization were observed.
