Abstract

In this work, by using adiabatic shortcut directional coupling approach, coupling efficiency over 80% from TE00 to TE10 mode within Ta2O5 nonlinear waveguide was realized. In addition, octave-spanning supercontinuum generation (650nm to 1300nm) has been demonstrated and discussed.
