Abstract

A mixed-integer programming model was developed to determine the optimal sub-region allocation of an area to be privatized. A preliminary case study was carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the model applications. Various alternatives were obtained by applying the model with varied objective functions or division evaluation strategies. Differences among the alternatives were compared and detailed.
