Abstract

Results from, X-ray diffuse scattering and inelastic neutron scattering demonstrate the presence of long-lived fluctuations in order up to 5.0°C above the first-order phase transition, Tc = 383.2°C. The temperature for continuous ordering has been determined to be 358.2°C. The coherent phase boundary is 3-13°C below Tc.
