Abstract

This paper proposes a novel design method of the sliding-mode controller combined with grey prediction for multi-input multi-output systems suffering from matched disturbances. The grey theory is used to predict the matched disturbances. Hence, the matched disturbances can be suppressed without any prior information concerning their upper bounds. Most importantly, the system under control maintains high accuracy even though the concept of sliding layer is employed to ameliorate the chattering problem. Finally, simulation results are given for demonstration.
