Abstract

With the demand for technical analysis of double badminton matches, the following are the new ways to collect data for badminton doubles competitions. The well-designed shot-by-shot labeling tool is available to access amounts of double badminton competitions. Given the differences between single and doubles matches in badminton, we redefine the data property to better fit the double games based on [1]. Additionally, it is more complex to collect the data in doubles, the custom-designed algorithm was drafted to gather more accurate information effectively. Moreover, we offer the data link as below to support anyone to invest in further research. The dataset is publicly available at: https://github.com/HuangYuHsien/S2DoublesDataset.
