Abstract

This paper proposes a novel license plate recognition system combined with dynamic projection warping technique, which makes the processed image robust to shifting, paring, and scaling problems. In addition, the method based on scanline checking is applied to exactly extract the position of license plate. Finally, experiment results are given for demonstration.
