Abstract

An 850-nm VCSEL carried 16-QAM OFDM transmission at 56 Gbit/s is demonstrated by using the pre-leveling technology, which reveals an optimized signal-to-noise ratio, error vector magnitude and bit-error-rate of 16.4 dB, 15.1% and 1.2×10-3, respectively.
