Abstract
Organic semiconductors (OSCs) have emerged as materials for use in a variety of modern optoelectronic devices, including organic light-emitting diodes and solar cells. In this article, we discuss the basics of OSCs, several fundamental charge storage scenarios, and the concept of doping in OSCs. We conclude with some interesting device applications, including electrophotographic devices, thin film transistors, and light-emitting transistors.
