Abstract

The relative yields of ionic photodissociation of some weak EDA complexes were measured with N2 gas laser photolysis. The chemical property of donoracceptor pairs determines the yield in general, while the yield decreases as the EDA interaction in the ground state increases in the case of donors with similar character.
