Abstract

In this paper we consider the problem of simulating two-phase, immiscible, incompressible flow in heterogeneous porous media in the presence of gravity, using an accurate numerical method based on the mass-conserving, characteristics-based MMOCAA (Modified Method of Characteristics with Adjusted Advection) scheme for fluid transport.
