Abstract
In this report, theoretical models to predict radio propagation in a corridor have been developed. The models based on the ray-tracing technique and electromagnetic theories of reflection, transmission and diffraction. The computed path loss is compared with the measured value of 900 Mhz and 2.44 GHz radio propagation in a hallway and gives a reasonable agreement. The major mechanisms of propagation along the hallway are governed by the wall and floor reflections and the line-of-sight propagation.
