    Abstract

The pseudo noise code (PN code) has wide application in spread spectrum communication system. A low power design with a novel power-saving pseudo noise (PSPN) code being applied is proposed. With toggle rate being decreased for CMOS implementations, the low power design with PSPN code represent 44% bandwidth reduction and 16% power reduction in compare to standard PN code.
