Abstract

This device is designed to be attached to inhalers, sequentially confirming the steps of inhaler use and providing corresponding guidance with sound and images, ensuring that patients can correctly use their medication under the device's guidance. The device has capabilities to detect loaded movements, inhalation flow, and activation of soft mist inhalers (SMIs) usage. Results indicate a high accuracy of 96% in inhaler-loaded detection and 97% in inhalation duration time. During the demonstration, the presenter will operate the inhaler and the device, demonstrating the steps involved in using the inhaler. Visitors will also have the opportunity to operate the inhaler and experience some of the steps firsthand. The demonstration requires a table with a minimum size of 50x50 cm and a 110V power supply.
