Abstract

It is experimentally found that the jitter noises of a 10 GHz asynchronous mode-locked Er-fiber laser do not follow the RF-synthesizer jitter spectra and can be even smaller by maximum 10 dBc/Hz in the 2.0 k - 40 kHz frequency range.
