Abstract

The ion-implanted micro-LEDs array presented better I-V curve and ideality factor. Photoelectric measurements revealed low light output due to flat emission surface. Despite inferior photoelectric characteristics, the flat surface benefits flip-chip bonding with driving circuit and can be easily fabricated to thin film micro-LED display.
