Abstract

A multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem may include both quantitative and qualitative criteria. However, sometimes it is difficult to evaluate the performance of an alternative when optimizing qualitative criteria (Kahraman et al. in Inf. Sci. 157:135–153, 2003).
