Abstract
Intrapolymer processes of S1 + S1 → Sn + So → S1 + So and S1 + S1 → 2T are proposed, from the analysis of excitation intensity dependences of the fluorescence dynamics of polyurethanes and vinyl polymers having carbazole chromophores. The average rate constant of the chromophore to chromophore energy transfer is estimated to be 1012s-1.
