Holographic collimator based on waveguide holograms

Abstract

A Collimated beam device was presented based on PMMA waveguide by using holographic technique. The dimension of the device is only 15 cm×8 cm×0.8cm, and the diameter of the generated collimation beam is around 5.9 cm. The device can be used as a backlight for hologram displaying.
