Abstract

We demonstrate the digital predistortion (DPD) at a reduced sampling rate in high-loss-budget 10G-class LR-PONs. A >50-Gbps transmission was achieved over 30-70 km using fixed DPD with >87% complexity reduction, compared to fully optimized DPD.
