Abstract

This study achieved active modulation of nanolasers on a graphene-insulator-metal (GIM) platform using gate voltage. A ZnO nanowire on the GIM platform created a compact plasmonic cavity and the gate voltage provided through a single-layer graphene altered the lasing threshold of the nanolasers by affecting SPP characteristics.
