Abstract
In the present investigation, the experimental and numerical work using the nonisothermal finite element program on compression molding have been demonstrated. The effects of mold closing speed, interfacial friction, and aspect ratio of charge on material flow have been investigated. The predicted shape of flow front agrees well with the experimental observations. Also, the predicted temperature profile is in good agreement with the experiment.
